1. ELIGIBILITY. No purchase necessary to enter. Purchase will not improve chances of winning. This sweepstakes begins 10/12/04 at 12:00:00 a.m. EDT and is open to all legal United States residents at least 18 years old at time of entry, except employees of Mariah Media Inc., Ski Lake Tahoe, The Ridge-Tahoe, Resorts West, Aramark, Zephyr Cove Snowmobiles, Lake Tahoe Cruises, any of its affiliate companies, subsidiaries, retailers, sales representatives, distributors, advertising agencies, promotional suppliers and the immediate families and household members of each. Sweepstakes ends 1/3/05 at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT. Void where prohibited by law.

2. HOW TO ENTER. To enter: Go To http://www.outsideinfo.com and Click on "Enter to win a Dream Vacation from Ski Lake Tahoe." You will be asked to provide your name, age, address, phone number and VALID e?mail address. You may obtain a copy of the official sweepstakes rules (VT residents may omit return postage for rule requests). Limit one entry per day by e?mail per person. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe reserve the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his or her Sweepstakes entries) who tampers with the entry process.

3. WEB RESTRICTIONS. All Web entrants must have a valid e?mail address. Sponsor reserves in its sole discretion to modify, cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, fraud, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the game. Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe assume no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunction or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "authorized account holder" person in whose name the e-mail account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the Eligibility section of these Official Rules. "Authorized Holder" shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. 4. PRIZE/ODDS. The prize winners will be drawn at random from eligible entries received, on or about January 31, 2005. PRIZE: Prize package for two (2) people to include: Ski Lake Tahoe five (5) days interchangeable lift tickets; five (5) nights lodging courtesy of the Ridge - Tahoe; snowmobiling courtesy of Zephyr Cove Snowmobiles; a lake cruise courtesy of Lake Tahoe Cruises. Winner is responsible for all required air/ground transportation to/from and within the Lake Tahoe region, all meals and beverages, ski/board equipment rentals and other miscellaneous expenses. Prize package expires on April 30, 2005. Total prize package is valued at $1,758.00. Odds of winning the prize will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION/PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Winners will be notified by e?mail, mail, or phone and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release with 14 days of notification. If prize notification e-mail, prize notification letter, or prize is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Failure to return the affidavit and the liability/publicity release within 14 days of notification may result in the prize being awarded to an alternate winner. Limit one prize per household address. All entries become property of Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe and will not be returned. Except at Sponsor's discretion, no cash redemptions, substitutes, or transfer of prizes allowed. In case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes properly claimed will be awarded. Any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the winners. Prize winners grant Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe the right to use his/her name and likeness in advertising, publicity and promotion without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

6. LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. By accepting this prize the winners agree that Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe will not be held responsible for any system damage, loss of property, accidents, injuries, or death that may occur in the receipt, awarding or use or possession of prizes. Winners acknowledge that neither Sponsor, Ski Lake Tahoe, nor its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, employees, or agents, have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers' terms therefore, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants and winners agree to be bound by these rules, the decisions of Sponsor and Ski Lake Tahoe and any applicable federal, state or local laws and regulations.

7. GOVERNING LAW. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of New Mexico without regard to conflicts of law principles. All entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the state of New Mexico.

8. WINNER'S LIST. To obtain a copy of the winners' names, send a self addressed stamped envelope to Outside Magazine, Ski Lake Tahoe Winner's List, 444 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 520, Chicago, IL 60611 by January 31, 2005. Winner's list will be sent when all winners have been verified and all prizes have been awarded.
